Cindy's 21! on 25Sep2006

This Princess is indeed a PRINCESS man.. She made three Highnesses busy BAKING CAKE on the night of 24Sep. The Highnesses deliberately plotted a conspiracy of Birthday Surprise - We gave her the idea that we didn't plan anything for her 21st. And yours truly caught glimpse of Princess Nini's gloomy face. Haha!

Really proud of the cake we made! Filling the cocktails and applying the creme... Quite a big project man.

Princess' bdae celebration ended with lunch at Hard Rock Cafe! Woohoo! We ate our hearts and money and stomach full! For me, a crazily big Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich and a shared Apple Cobbler. Yummilious...

the DHL box not to be missed out

All-In-One Box

Cindy's most awaited DHL box came yesterday.

When Mel and I went to her room to retrieve our stuffs from home, we are stunned at her door. She'd unpacked all the things in her box and her floor is practically FILLED! So many food displaying on the floor.. its ALOT ALOT of food.

Tibits are totally uncountable. There are even MOONCAKES and PAPER LANTERNS and CANDLES! We're going to celebrate Mid-Autumn Fest here:) Totally excited. Her family even bought vegetarian mooncake for me *touched*. Her mum even prepared veggie canned food! Not to mention the different sauces - curry, bak-gu-teh etc. Amazing. Wendy was even more amazing to squeeze in SO MANY ga-zillions items!

We left her room with tibits and sweets and milo packets in our hands. *heh heh*

LoveFy's handmade A4 card was really sweet, though I think the photos of me are quite buang. It's faithfully hanged above my study table. A bit sad though that he forgot to send me pics of my family. The task shall be passed to adorable Miss Fatty. Miss Fatty actually sent her fave highlighter when I requested for my fave color one. I felt a bit piang when I saw the kiddy 2-color highlighter. But she's sweet to send me SO many hairpins. Or was it mummy dearest's idea? So many hairclips that Cindy asked for one to DIG HER EARS!

Totally cool to have things sent here from home... So many surprises... Cindy is one lucky girl:) Her friends are too under her influence!

Kill me. Just use any clean and sterilised weapon and end my life. Actually, a temporary death will suffice.

Cant wait for this CORTURE lecture to end.

What the hell is corture? Beats me when I first heard it. Guess the word. It's CULTURE. My goodness. I know my Engrish sucks but I don't think my hearing fails me as yet. Seriously, the ang-mohs are so energetic and spontaneous to discuss in groups about a task that he just assigned. Cindy is lovingly creating a wallpaper of her sweet moments with her darling while I was surfing the net and of course, using the discussion time to BLOG.

I will try to upload many many pretty pictures taken with the pretty ladies in Gothenburg.. soon. Very beautiful city and entertaining trip. Dawn's saying " Procrastination is my friend". It sure is becoming a friend of mine too...

Back to discussing Hofstede's study of National Cultures. My course is "Scandinivian Culture and Worklife". Feeling cheated to sign up for this course.

Late Late Update

Events that took place some time ago and worth mentioning :)

=Up in the woods of Kringsa Mountain=

I chose to believe the distance and height that i've been through define a Mountain, not a Hill. Ting and all kept saying it's only a hill....BaH. Never been a sporty girl in my life and those pictures below are totally UN-censored!



I'm always lagging behind, either with Nic, Mel and Cindy, or Jaya and Duanwei. Jaya will be kind and wait for me to drag my heavy feet through the unfriendly rock path. Nic and Mel wore worrying footwear because Nic guessed that the path would be seasoned since many people are known to go up the 'mountain' to PICK BERRIES!





Our first stop point after 1km of walk. Met into preschool kids on excursion and ... ducks.



The steepness and the distance are totally UNBELIEVABLE. I shall upload the video that Kevin took of us looking real tired yet determined to reach the top to complete our mission. Four of us were complaining most of the time about the 'worthiness' of the berries to make us go such distance. And when we finally reached the top, our conclusion is . . .





IT IS BERRY-WORTHY! hee. We practically eat as we plucked. And many of us reaped good harvest! Nic was eating on her harvest, Mel was admiring the scenery after few handfuls of harvest, Cindy and I were greedily harvesting, making our climb worth.

Certainly nostalgic to be involved with IT software again. MultimediaClub senior member once.. don't pray pray! Guess the laydees like Dawn n Ying must be laughing their teeth off when I mentioned about my IT expertise. Chey. I have none lar. Dawn can vouch for that!
